I started swimming for a club team in Westfield at the age of 5, and I was a part of the Merrimac swim team for a year at the age of 7. I’ve been swimming for most of my life on teams such as Fishers Area Swimming Tigers, Westfield High School, and I currently swim at DePauw University. Swimming is much more than a sport to me. It has allowed me to develop a strong work ethic, responsibility, and it has helped to create my strongest friendships. I am extremely excited to help other children learn to swim with more comfort and encourage them to pursue their goals. I want to give back to a sport and community that has given so much to me.
When I first started swimming, I swam for Centennial for 4 years, then for Westfield High School, and now for the Michigan State Swim Club. I've been a part of the Centennial Swim Team in some way for the better part of the last 10 years. I'm looking forward to giving back to the sport that has given me so much!
I swam on the Centennial Swim Team for six years before high school. Additionally, I swam for Westfield school teams in 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. Over the many years since I first started as a Cyclone, I've been able to hone my skills and improve substantially as a swimmer. I look forward to helping these great kids learn the same sport that has been such a large part of my life.
